If you are in the internet’s book world at all, you know about Kindle Unlimited. Is it really worth it though? Well, I think so! I would not be able to afford more than half of the books I read without it! Even if you just read one book a month, you are saving money! The price is not the only great thing about KU. It has thousands of fantastic novels by both best-selling and brand new authors. Here are my top 10 romance reads I discovered through Kindle Unlimited!

1. The Windy City series by Liz Tomforde

Now I have recommended Mile High, the first in this series, on this blog before, but these books just keep getting better! Tomford does a really great job of writing sports romances that are full of our favorite tropes but are truly original! The first book is hockey, the second is basketball, and the third and fourth are baseball. I also can’t get enough of romance series because I just love seeing what the couples from the previous books are getting up to!

2. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata

This is one of my favorite romance books of all time and it has just gone through a rerelease with a cute new cover and is FINALLY on KU! This is also a sports romance, but it is a green card marriage of convenience plotline with a big vegan softy of a football player as the main character. I literally have reread this book like 8 times… maybe I’ll start 9…

3. Off to the Races by Elsie Silver

Listen, I will read anything that Elsie Silver writes. Romances about Canadian cowboys, from ranchers to bull riders? SIGN. ME. UP. Off to the Races is a great place to start with Elsie because it is where she started. It is a great introduction to her style and many of the characters you will see through her books. All her books are on KU so you have plenty of material to kick off the membership!

4. Anything by Meghan Quinn

Another author that has many Kindle Unlimited reads that are worth the money is Meghan Quinn! She has something for everyone from small town to all sorts of sports romances. Quinn brings a uniqueness to her characters, especially her male leads, that sets her apart from other authors. She isn’t afraid to make them go through difficult things or make them vulnerable, and it is very refreshing. If you were to start making your way through Quinn’s catalog, I would pick up the Vancouver Agitators series first!

5. Anything by Sophie Lark

You can’t go wrong with a Sophie Lark KU novel. Her romances tend to be on the darker side of things, so make sure you’re aware of what you are reading! She adds a level of suspense to her books that is perfect for creating some unique relationship tension. The Brutal Birthright series is a great place to start and they are all on KU!

6. Anything by Ana Huang

Ana Huang’s books have been blowing up in the last few years- and for good reason. She somehow weaves these kind of outlandish but also believe plot lines that bring a refreshing dash of suspense to the romance genre. I am also a huge fan of how important the female friendships are in Ana’s novels, especially in the romance genre. You can’t go wrong with an Ana Huang book, and she has got PLENTY on KU!

7. Bright Lights & Summer Nights by Kat Singleton

This book is actually the third in a fun little romance series but this Bright Lights and Summer Nights is BY FAR the best. In it, Preston witnesses Emma sneaking into his sister’s engagement party and instead of kicking her out, invites her to be his fake date for the wedding week (I know, classic). It’s so cute watching him try to convince her to date him for real- definitely worth the read.

8. Unravel Me by Becka Mack

I would be remiss if I did not include a hockey romance on this list. Unravel me is a KU romance that hits a little deeper than your normal rom com novel. There are dogs, single moms, and guarded goalies entangled in a web of past experiences that could hinder them from their happily ever afters. It is definitely a can’t skip, and the first two in the series aren’t too shabby themselves…

9. Redeemed by Lauren Asher

I know what you’re thinking. M, this is the fourth book in an Formula One romance series, what’s going on here? While the other three books are definitely worth it, the series finale takes the cake. Redeemed is a story about a former F1 driver, irreparably damaged by the sport, who gets saved by an unassuming girl who accidentally trespasses on his property. Oh, and it’s set in an adorable Italian town. 10/10 would recommend, and you can read all four of Asher’s F1 books with KU!

10. From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata

From Lukov with Love is another Marianan Zapata MASTERPIECE! She is the queen of slow burn and in this version of it, two figure skaters who dislike each other very much are forced to be partners. A fantastic romance coupled with the subplot of the pressures of being a world class athlete is the perfect read to get you in the winter mood as the weather starts to get colder. (P.S. A lot of Zapata’s other books are on KU!)

All in all, Kindle Unlimited is definitely worth it, perfect for those of us balling on a budget! I have got my entire family hooked, they have something for everyone. Stay tuned for my top KU Fantasy books!
